Since 2005, Agro Orchids Costa Rica has been producing Phalaenopsis Orchids for the U.S, Latin American and Caribbean Market. Its operation is located in Central America, Costa Rica, in the beautiful city of San Ramón, Alajuela.
Our family-owned second generation company was created to supply the market with top quality Phalaenopsis, preserving the environment and being socially responsible with the community. Its passion in growing plants was born in the 1980s when current owner, Rodolfo Gil, started his ways into the agricultural world with his Mass Cane (Dracaenas) projects with his brothers. After many years in the cane business, he decided to embark on a new adventure and discover the orchid world.
We currently export to over 15 countries in South, Central, and North America, and the Caribbean. We have over 100 different varieties produced by the best growers in Taiwan, Belgium and the Netherlands. We export flowering orchids, pre-induced orchids, and orchids for greenhouse growing, including large-flowered, standard-sized, and miniature orchids.
We also sell flowering Phalaenopsis orchids in the Costa Rican market to over 50 different clients, nurseries, and florists in the country.
